… indeed, it is a matter of energy. Energy witch interferons between “us”. The phenomenon of photography is the energy of light reflected from the “object” and the incident, “the photographer” – the human body, living, in terms of space, a fraction of a second and sensitive to the surrounding world.
Photographs in this exhibition are the photochemical, aesthetic response to this “attack” of reality. Empty buildings, barns crumbling grange are proving the existence of another time. Dry, abandoned by the last autumn leaves, tree branches, which are like theatre scenery obscured by a wall of the old building. The perception of reality “on the side” – in a split second – is a destination of photography.
IMAGE becomes significant. Authentic, existing whatever the time is disclosure. Like not remembering, that the reason for the establishment concerned specific locations and times. If an objectively existing reality was irrelevant. Did not last forever. Photos do not seem to stop objects “to eternity.” Do not take them “by own”. Allow them to flow freely between the perceptions of the existence of a registration. Photography seems to leave them in their places, as if they could die peacefully in his “own real” world, without leaving a trace behind. And that, perhaps, makes these unique photographs…
After all, to see does not always mean to keep….
